Stupid Expansion Talk

The same posters that will lament over their teams inability to win a conference with 14 teams are the same blowhards who cry out that the SEC needs to add more teams(not from the Southeast).
The players suffer because the travel schedule is longer and the conference is harder to win. The fans suffer because the team will win less, travel times are longer and we only get to play certain cross divisional opponents once every decade.
Who does win from expansion, exactly? Missouri has been a complete and utter disaster since joining the SEC. Their programs are falling apart and culturally they just are not a fit. A&M fits culturally but are the fans really that happy?

Are you kidding? Are freed prisoners happy to be out?

Expansion is off-season boredom that turns into stupid reality. I have no problem with Missouri and A&M being added but how many fricking teams do we need.

Mizzou has been to Atlanta twice...

I have nothing against Mizzou or A&M fans. I do relate more with A&M fans just because they still do maintain a southern like culture.
Mizzou, the school, has been a SJW embarrassment. Their athletic programs have been crumbling under the pressure of the SEC.

Since Mizzou joined in 2012, Mizzou has won the east more than anyone and has been to Atlanta more than anyone besides Alabama.

Mizzou has won the East twice in four years. It's like everyone forgets this. Don't give me the East was down bullshite either. It wasn't as good as the West, but that doesn't mean it was down.

Right, and where are they now? What did those SECCG appearances do for them? The program is in terrible shape.

So what, were they supposed to win it 3 times in four years?

I was unaware that the SEC championship game was supposed to cure Pinkel's cancer.

This is the dumbest question I have ever read on the Rant, which is a place full of dumbass trolling questions.
You are a natural. Don't keep it up.

Dude, they are SEC. We can't take it back. Their fans are alright and don't deserve these daily threads.

I assure you TAMU is extremely happy. We are finally in the conference that we should have been in all along.

Anyone could obviously see we got our wish. We just wanted people to pay attention to us, and now they do. Almost too much.

Are special Olympic gold metals the same as Olympic gold metals?

Has to be some idiotic troll attempt? Yes, A&M fans are happy to be in the SEC.
I just can't wait until we start to benefit from all of this talent in the region, just like other schools in the conference.
We are slowly starting to see it on the football field (Speedy, Don Wilson, and Justin Evans). We just picked up a great prospect from LA for basketball in Robert Williams. A&M got "elite" women's swimmer Sydney Pickrem from FL and she helped them win their first SEC Championship this Year. The men's team just signed their first "elite" FL swimmer this off-season in Raiz Tjon-A-Joe.
A&M is just getting started! We've just started to upgrade our facilities. We upgraded our baseball facility in 2012 and they are already going to get another upgrade to update them for the SEC. The football and Equestrian/Cross-country facilities just got an upgrade. Softball and Track are next!!!

My team has won the SEC and I am not opposed to expansion. If we add the right schools we would be in stronger position if and when other conferences expand.
However in my schools to add list, I only have schools that will bring something to the table: Texas, Oklahoma, FSU, Miami, UNC, and maybe a couple others.
