Hey baws, I bought some tickets for LSU/OM this year on stub hub and it says they will be delivered via email the day before the game. (which is super annoying)

I know StubHub doesn't release the funds to sellers until they send the tickets, so its in their best interest to send them over faster. Do you know if people usually send them out as soon as they have the e-tickets available, or do they usually wait until the last minute as suggested?

Hoping to print them before we make the road trip.

I think you can just pull up the email at the gate on your phone.

I get season tickets (the actual physical paper tickets) every year and sell a lot of them on stubhub. As a seller, I am required to ship them within 2 business days of the sale. As soon as the shipper confirms the package is delivered, stubhub starts the transfer process to my Paypal account. I've never done an electronic ticket sale, but I would think they are required to send them at their earliest opportunity. Check on the Stubhub policy and make sure they aren't breaking it.

Stubhub allows you to list tickets even if you don't have them in hand, which is what the OP seller did. The seller then picked the latest date allowable to deliver the tickets, 1 day before the game. The seller may or may not deliver them sooner.

Oh wow what an a-hole. That's just so inconvenient for your buyer.

They may send the seller a message but their standard answer is that you're protected under their fan protection if the seller doesn't follow through.

you wont have a problem. It is standard practice until the tickets arrive at the ticket holders address.

I have sold many tix via stubhub, razorgator, ticketcity, vivid, etal. all the same actually.

Don't worry. You are protected.

StubChub charges extra for anything over an hour... careful if you are dealing with someone from tampa area.

I received my tickets on Monday. Sent the barcode to stubhub on Wednesday, and my money just went into my checking account thru paypal.

So no problem with stubhub on my end.

What about baseball and cancelled games? It says on the tickets no refunds or exchanges so the buyer should beware and have to eat it but not what happened the one time I did it. (angry face)

Day of game they had the ticket (and did not return them) but Stub Hub billed me. Granted it was a wash because in theory they sent me a chaco 2 weeks after they sold, but still, seems whoever had physical possession of tickets when the game cancelled (wether) should have to bear the cost.

The only issue I've ever encountered stubhub took care of for me via refund. We had an early kickoff in September against a small school. Gave my seasts facing the sun to family and bought shaded seats off stubhub for cheap for my kids. Got the tickets and they were listed wrong and were in a section in full sun. I called stubhub and they refunded the money. I was hoping they'd provide similar seats instead since there weren't any others priced as low as what I bought but they wouldn't do it due to the price difference.

I bought UGA tickets off Vivid Seats this yea because they were considerably cheaper than stubhub. I've never used them before and have a similar concern as the OP. Hopefully they ship sooner than the estimated date or I'll have to re-route them to the hotel. I'm assuming they will since you don't get paid until you deliver.
