Some highlights:

1. Bama has scored the most points and allowed the fewest points of anyone in conference play. They also have the best defense in terms of yards allowed, but only the 6th offense in terms of yards allowed.

2. Miss State, by looking at the conference stats, looks legit - better than LSU.

3. Tenn can't play defense.

4. A&M leads the conference in passing and rushing offense.

To be clear - I realize that we have not played enough games yet to draw any hard conclusions. I just think its fun to check out the stats.

Its because they are trying to run a 3-4 without the right personnel. If Dooley had a guaranteed 3 more years I would say wait and it will be good once they get the players but I dont see Dooley there in 3 years.

Who needs defense when you have offense?

Yeah. Those Auburn and Kentucky games are brutal ones. Luckily, they grinded both of them out.

Bama's conf play has been against a bad Ark team and a pretty decent Ole Miss team.

MSU conf game against Auburn. No explanation needed there.

TN has played one decent defense and one terrible one.

A&M has played one good team in FL, and lost, and one pretty decent team in Ole Miss and almost lost. They blew out Ark, but that was a given.

We outscored A&M, UT, and LSU in the second half 54-6.

Did we not play Kentucky on the road last weekend? The same place where SCar had a tight game.

By that logic, Florida struggled with UT.

And was outscored 31-0 in the second half.

Mississippi state beat Auburn by 18...was that a close game since they were only up 7-3 at the half?

So....if your team plays one of the bottom schools of the SEC, then every game in the SEC is tough, especially on the road.

But when other teams blow them up, so what, they sucked. And if it's remotely close, the better team is overrated.

Got it.

Marcus is leading all SEC RBs in rushing yds per game and rushing TDs in conference competition thus far...

Not bad for a RB who's only a shell of his former self post-injury....

And? Does this mean yall are better than LSU or Auburn's good? Just so you know both answers are traps if we end up beating Auburn worse than yall did
