State fans traveling…Who is heading up to Athens for this one? If you are is it because you are ready to experience some fun in Athens, or you believe that you have a solid football team?

I wish. Unfortunately prior commitments prevent it this time. Heard it's a great time.

ETA: And it would be both reasons.

Both. But mostly for fun, I planned the trip before season even started. Us having a good team just makes it better

Bit of both, bonus that my brother lives in Georgia, so also a little family time.

I was told to wear State stuff under a nondiscript sweatshirt because Uga treats opposing fans so poorly. That's just bs right? I've lived in Georgia my entire life and have never met a Georgia fan that I thought was excessively rude like that. But I've never been to a game at Uga.

Just butt hurt Auburn fans. Come on down, we don't bite, but we do bark.

Have to go to a wedding on Saturday.

Otherwise would be grabbing a bunch of drinks at the Manhattan Café.

that's total BS, especially for this game since we aren't rivals in any way and really don't have ill-will towards MSU. Now, if you're wearing MSU gear you probably won't find any tickets for sale, but if you're not looking for tickets you'll be fine.

It's pretty much like anything else in life; fit in, don't be a jackass to other people, be respectful, and you'll get the same treatment in return.

That's total bullshite. Ask most of the LSU fans. You mouth off with some drunken frat kid and you might have this experience, but otherwise, you should be welcomed pretty warmly.

You're not Florida, after all.

I'm hoping to make it. Working in Talladega so I'm thinking about making the 2.5 hour drive. Have been trying to make a game at all the SEC stadiums and this is my best chance since I'm working this close to Athens.

When we played their last time my cousin got married and I had to go to that. Now my buddy is getting married this weekend. I was in both of them. I guess I'll try again in 12 yrs.

I'm going sitting in section 101. Hopefully get off work early Friday and make the trip over from Jackson. One of my good friends in college is from Athens and just got his own apartment there so I got a free place to stay

It's 3 phases. Pre- game tailgating, during the game, post-game. State fans will have fun during all of those phases while Georgia will only have fun during the pre-game tailgating phase.

We save that for Gamecock fans. That, and throwing old ladies down and bottles of urine from the upper deck.

Just ask them

When I went in 1997 as a senior at State and Georgia beat the hell out of us, I got cussed out by a 12 year old.
