Is there an advantage here? MSU plays Bama, Arky and Ole Miss in the week following those teams' games with LSU. In modern college football, is there credence to the "playing a team after they are banged up against a physical team" or is that not the case any longer.

Normally. But they will all be coming off of a loss, and may have a renewed focus heading into theirs games with State.

You will lose to Ole Miss.

State will have a decent shot against Bama and a great shot against the rest.
I felt Bama would get tagged by either Tennessee or State this year, and I think State is a better team than Tennessee.

LSU's opponents thus far are 2-3 after facing LSU. After Florida beats Georgia it will be 3-3. Seems a wash.

Arkansas smoked Ole Miss last year the week after playing LSU. So prayers sent to State in advance this year.

I don't know about that. Les doesn't like physical play, he will send a letter to the SEC if teams get too physical with his team. I guess he is still Big 12 mentality.

3 of OM's final 4 opponents play Arky before playing OM

I would think it is still very beneficial to play a team right after they have played a tough physical contest.

Wow...Didn't know that. One thing's for sure, it won't hurt. But M State is gaining momentum on their own. I think they will beat Bama.
