they are young and inconsistent, but the nucleus is there for a championship squad in the next 2 to 3 years.

That was a big win last night in a place that much better teams could not win for us.

This isn't the year, but a couple years from now we should be competing.

A couple of our losses have been "bad" losses, but I'm pretty happy with the season so far.

Should be favored in 4 of next 6 and 7 of next 8 are winnable. Got to think if we can go 5-3 in the next eight we have a shot at the NIT. Kentucky is in Starkville next Tuesday night - maybe we can keep it within 20.

Texas A&M
Kentucky
at Tennessee
Missouri
at Alabama
Ole Miss
Tennessee
at Auburn

Our losses:
East Tennessee - that's not a bad loss. They are 13-3 and should win their conference.
Lehigh - yep, that's a bad loss. They suck.
UCF - They are 12-4 and have the tallest player in the nation. They might make the tournament if they can win some games in the American
Alabama - Basically the same team we are. Should have won the home game and lost the road game. Now we have to win in Tuscaloosa.

We are 143rd in the RPI, but it should move up rapidly. All but one team left on our schedule is higher than us. Wins could be worth 10-12 spots for the next month or so. We certainly didn't get any help from Oregon State - making the tournament last year and off to a 3-13 start this year and sub-300 in the RPI.

We are actually 1-0 against the Top 50 Boise State has a chance to be a top 50 win by season's end.

We cracked the top 100 on kenpom.com.

Stapleton gives us limited minutes, but he is solid when he is on the court. He's been a nice mid-season addition.

Our only bad loss is Lehigh and we were missing Q that game.

State got along to go to get back when State won the West every year. They are getting there but you can tell how young they are. Kind of sloppy last night
