Nah, if the refs that called tonight's game reffed that match the count would have been way longer.

I went back and watched the 4th period and the OT...it was blatant UCONN bias from the officials. They just anticipated that all contact made was a foul on MSU.

Welcome to WBB since ESPN got heavily involved.

Has not been good for the sport overall.

In fairness, it usually only shows up like this when UCONN is playing.

:kige:

Notre Dame gets much love as well as does the ACC schools

Stanford gets the worst treatment based the actual performance historically and since the BTN cut out ESPn I have noticed they have dropped off the radar when it comes to WBB coverage.

I didn't watch it, I grant, but this sort of a generic question for winners complaining about the refereeing -- if they were so pro-UCONN, how on earth could MSU have possibly won? I mean, it's overtime. By definition the score is close and there's very little time to compensate for calls made against you. If the refs were that biased, I can't see how MSU could have won.

Edit: After clicking the link, I will admit I was amused by the Huskies on a pro wrestler, and all that implies (intentionally or not) about the legitimacy of UConn's win streak.

I would agree... but having watched the game the officiating was the drizzling shite as the game finished and it was in favor of UConn.

Moo State won in spite of some horrible calls from the refs. Were they purposely against Moo State or did they let their perception of UConn color their calls in the last few minutes?

I would say it was the second. There were some horrible calls down the stretch but MSU won despite them.

I thought that State received the benefit of the doubt on more calls than UCONN did last night. Yeah the flagrant was a terrible call and they should still be talking about that bullshite. But I think its dumb for people to assume that the NCAA would pander to UCONN. That doesnt help the NCAA. It hurts them. They need parody. No one wants to watch a uconn blowout in the championship, which is what will happen again next year after this years team is older.
