Georgia Tech beats the Vols on a last-second field goal, and the panic in Knoxville doesn't stop after losses to Florida and Georgia. Tennessee is shocked by South Carolina at home and another loss to Alabama gives the Vols a 2-5 start. The fight to stay bowl eligible is on, and that turns up the heat on Butch Jones

Please explain how expecting Muschamp to beat a Butch-coached team....again...is either far-fetched or ignorant?

We are much better on both sides of the ball than we were last year...from the talk among members of your own fanbase, y'all are anything but improved. Combine that info with the fact that your coach has never beaten a Muschamp coached team and yep, I'd call that expected.

If y'all cannot understand that, I'd say with certainty the ignorance falls on y'all.

Cause the music city bowl is so much better

Yes...winning the Music City Bowl is better than losing the Birmingham Bowl.

So, from that we can tell that you are at least 34 years old.

How is it in comparison to losing to the team that lost the Birmingham Bowl, though?

I mean, really. Outside of LSU, has a program squandered its talent more than these hayseeds? At least when Florida was bad, half our starters were on the DL. AND we have two SECE division titles in that time.

Let's see...here are your two scenarios to choose from:

Scenario 1:

Scenario 1: Lose UT/USCe game, then still finish 2nd in the East, win the Music City Bowl to finish out the season 9-4

or

Scenario 2: Win UT/USCe game, then finish tied for 5th in the East, lose the Birmingham bowl to finish out the season with a losing record.

I would say scenario #1 is better.

From your posts it would suggest that you prefer the losing season scenario...which makes sense if you consider the resurrected trend in sub .500 Gamecock football (where partying like it's 1999 makes you remember when they won 1 game over 2 seasons).
