I think there is a better chance of Wisconsin pulling the upset over LSU. USC has a shot but I think Alabama's defense is the difference in the game

Not with Max Browne at QB they're not. Their defense might have some success but the offense won't.

Alabama has as many unanswered questions as USC. USC's skilled players are good enough to play anywhere in the country. I think this game will be closer than most think and I wouldn't be shocked if USC pulled the upset...especially if Bama starts a true freshman at QB.

Alabama has a pretty consistent history of blowing out teams in the opening game on a neutral field. This is click bait of the highest order.

Not gonna happen, they're just looking for the attention. SC is not anywhere near Bama's level at the moment. We do have a lot of talent, but our Oline is being incredibly overrated. Bama's Dline will dominate this game.

What's the deal these days with so-called media outlets publishing "articles" that are like ten sentences in length?

Anyways, I think the reasoning is pretty sound. USC's defense is going to be tough as nails. Alabama won't score very many points at all. I give USC the edge because they have comparable talent to Alabama and catch Alabama at the opportune time to upset last season's National Champions.

Alabama will have another great football team, but they are going to have an adjustment period to start the season this year. New QB, new RB, and new defensive coaches across the board. Week one against another elite level team is a recipe for an upset in my eyes.

Same stuff, new year.

ETA: Keep saying it, and eventually you'll be right. Doesn't make it sound analysis.

Adoree Jackson is the real deal too. But I don't see that USC has really put things together in a while whereas Bama has done that year after year. Talent wise USC is a lot like Texas, Florida, or Georgia in that they will almost always have the talent to compete and I think that's true here but Bama is a machine.

Even through my crimson glasses, I don't see why this is far fetched. LSU over Wisconsin and Clemson over auburn seem like safer locks to me, but not Vegas.

Keep saying that Alabama is going to win every game they play and most years you'll be wrong at least once.

I predict no one here reads that website nor do most know the great history of the Sporting News.

Pitiful what has become of a great American institution. Trolling Bama just to get clicks, very sad

I hate being ranked #1 preseason. Maybe this will make the boys feel disrespected and they'll play harder.
