Also...realistic guesses on when UT will win their next one? Damn sure won't be next year which would tie them with us.

frick.

Is it the offseason already?

I can't deal with the daily best and worst uniforms, Saban is leaving for wherever, and kick Mizzou and aTm out of the SEC threads just yet.

It's Christmas you unoriginal fricks.

Spend the next few days thinking about how much your posts sucked last offseason, and then make a resolution to post better in offseason 2017.

Good news Vols. There's a chance you can return to glory if you can break the conference drought. LSU ended its 20+ year drought & won a national championship in '58.
Bama also ended their 9 season drought with the 2009 title.

That was a long 9 years. I'm almost over the pain finally.

Almost.

Bama has won an SEC championship every decade. I was actually afraid that the streak would be broken in the 2000's, but Saban pulled us through and won it in 09.

We're also good for this decade.

I don't get this...you act like Bama has no history and is some new power. We've been doing this for a long time little feller.

Didn't they go undefeated in conference in the '70s but weren't eligible because they were on probation?

I understand the title of the thread, just saying they've had a year worth of an SEC championship since then.

that's '77, which I can't really speak on. But for a laughable reason UK fans try to claim '76 as an SEC title for them, despite:

-UGA going 10-2 and UK going 8-4
-UGA going 5-1 in the SEC and UK going 4-2
-UGA beating UK 31-7

But due to a forfeit by a team they lost to they try to claim it anyway

Bama has 4 head coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame. Wade 1920's & 30's; Thomas 30's & 40's; Bryant 60's & 70's; and Stallings 90's. Saban is sure to be inducted in the CFHOF when he retires.

So Bama won't fall off the map.
