On a side note, Dawn is also currently the Coach of the USA Women's Basketball Team (the Olympic National team)

Spring 2017, Obama is in White House
You mean Trump wasn't president starting Jan 20 2017?

Michele Obama is frequently called that name.

He was giddy about receiving the Clemson helmet and had it displayed on set for quite awhile. Could still be. I don't watch him. Maybe it was simply the Nikki Haley connection that he was celebrating.
Or maybe he's a grandstanding arse-hat with very little self awareness, who clutches desperately to anything that makes people talk about him?
Like testifying in front of Congress in comedic character, thereby diminishing the issue that he was supposed to be fighting for. He's a mannish fop who seems a little humorous to a generation with no attention span

You have to realize that an American President's schedule consists of attending boring meetings and holding conference calls day after day. Events like the White House Correspondents Dinner and meeting with sports teams in the White House is more for the president's benefit to have fun and break up the monotony of their schedule. Of course with Trump, it's turned into a whole different thing.
I totally realize all of this, and my "better things to do" comment include all you mentioned, actual govt decisions for the people of the country, spanking his fine arse wife, picking his nose, scractching his ballz, yadda yadda yadda.

I was just checking to see if folks were paying attention
While Obama was president he filled out both M and W brackets. Thought Trump refused to do so. Not sure if he did in the end, but was resistant at first.
Side Note : When you see presidents playing golf and other sports stuff it is done for 2 reasons.
#1 It presents a "calm" perception when representing American image outside the US borders. When you saw Bush playing golf it was a direct jab at the Middle East conflict and proper "spin" when tensions are high
#2 It presents a POTUS is "one of us" image to the folks inside the US borders. Most politicians are not big sports folks (usually come from the nerdy lawyer gene pool) and by showing interest in US sports it "bonds" the public with their POTUS.
Both Obama and Trump came from wealth and silver spoon childhoods but at least Obama was able to hide it by appearing more like the common American. Trump does not even bother to hide his disdain for the "little people" and not engaging in something as scripted as White House visits shows just how deep his mental illness is. He is the ultimate narcissist in the age of the narcissist.

He’s already got votes from that cracker state.

I'm pretty sure a Senator or Rep from the state where the NCAA champion is domiciled makes the initial contact with the White House to set this up.
Does South Carolina not have representation in Congress anymore? Where are they on this?

Very strange that they weren't invited.
Maybe it's because the NBA and the NFL have acted like a bunch of assholes since Trump was elected. I don't know.
Still, invite should have been made, imo.

I agree completely. I can't stand him. Never have cared for him. Ashamed to admit he's from South Carolina.

Am I a bad fan if I didn't watch a single minute of this tourney?
