Public appearances like this have been a fairly traditional duty of the President.

I know that, but for ever championship team in the country?? As I said not many had a clue the womens team got invited. Is that new?

Also, a fairly traditional part of it was teams going, and not causing a problem over it. Being a bunch of racists about it. Things change, and one can ruin it for other.

I've met and spoken to Coach Staley several times. This is due to my daughter's basketball accolades.

I must say from a personal perspective I don't blame POTUS for not inviting her.

Yup yup. Im sure the Prez has better things to do. No one really cares, and one group ruined it for others.

Honestly I had no clue it was a long tradition of womens BB champs getting invited, and as UT fan I've had a few chances to realize it. Just a bunch of whine burgers being eaten up in here.

You have to realize that an American President's schedule consists of attending boring meetings and holding conference calls day after day. Events like the White House Correspondents Dinner and meeting with sports teams in the White House is more for the president's benefit to have fun and break up the monotony of their schedule. Of course with Trump, it's turned into a whole different thing.

Wrong Trump started the USFL and payed Herschel Walker a ton of money to come play for him.

Wrong. Trump DID NOT start the USFL nor did he sign Walker. Trump purchased the NJ Generals AFTER the first season and AFTER Walker had already played a season.

Colbert went to Northwestern.

I don't really see him as one who embraces his SC roots, but I of course could be really wrong about that. According to his Wiki page, he trained himself to drop the southern accent because he was afraid of being stereotyped as a dumb southerner.

Nothing about women's basketball deserves recognition. It's very existence is an insult to respectable athletic competition.

I was there in the arena when TAMU beat ND for the championship and Mr Pringle and your fellow TAMU alumni would strongly disagree with you.

Oh yeah. You're right.

I know for prep school, he went to Porter-Gaud in Charleston. It costs something like $20,000 a year to go there.

He was giddy about receiving the Clemson helmet and had it displayed on set for quite awhile. Could still be. I don't watch him. Maybe it was simply the Nikki Haley connection that he was celebrating.

Spring 2017, Obama is in White House

Fall 2017, Trump is in White House

Cocks busted Obama'a bracket (think he had Uconn) so probably sore

Trump is an arse and elitist so probably thinks black women are beneath him

It just goes to show you how screwed up the White House has become when the symbol of American diplomacy and manners has been replaced by hate and fear mongering.

Next election vote neither Democrat or Republican if all ether can do is promote candidates that embarrass the country as a whole.

I want to get back to an America where you can vote for a good candidate than picking the lesser of two evils.
