Current standings : (Teams still ATL eligible remaining schedules)
UF: 4-2 (USC, @LSU)
UK: 4-3 (@UT)
UT: 2-3 (UK, Mizzou, @Vandy)
USC: 3-4 (@UF)
UGA: 3-4*
Vandy: 1-4
Mizzou: 0-5

*UGA eliminated because of its 3 loss division record

UPDATE: UF lost @Arkansas and UK lost to UGA so South Carolina is still alive for the East. Next week South Carolina has to win @UF and UK needs to lose @UT

USC would have to win on the road at Florida to get to 4-4 in the SEC, but if they do they’d be 4-2 in the division with a head-to-head advantage over Florida and Tennessee.

Then Florida (USC, @LSU) and Kentucky (@UT) have to lose their remaining SEC games, and UT (UK, Mizzou, @Vandy) has to beat UK and lose at least one of their remaining SEC games.

If USC finishes in a three-team tie with Florida (USC, @LSU) and Kentucky (@UT) USC would hold the tiebreaker edge over Florida and go to Atlanta.

If USC finishes in a four-team tie with Florida (@Arkansas, USC, @LSU) Kentucky (UGA, @UT) and Tennessee (UK, Mizzou, @Vandy), USC again would hold the tiebreakers over Florida and Tennessee and would go to Atlanta.

That would be the most USC thing ever. They did it with 3 losses, so naturally they have to try to see if they can go lower.

It's weird seeing you guys with optimism, but I like it.

'Cause when you guys lose to Missouri, that'll be it from SC fans for a while.

I imagine Bama is planning to send only their third string to Atlanta, resting up their quality players for the playoff. The East is that big of a shitshow.

I really like CWM.

He's learned from experience that you must have a QB in this league.

Bentley at one point was who I thought AU would build around.

I hope you rep the east.

No, you cannot get to Atlanta. You can at best get to a tie for first with Kentucky, who would win the tiebreaker

How about throw in GA and Vandy at 4-4 and make it a 6 way tie. Who goes then?

A lot of variables, but it's interesting to think in Muschamp's first year, off a a 3 win prior season, he has us in contention in November.

"You guys" ... you yankee frick. lulz

And Gamecock fans, if we are known for anything, are known for being eternal optimists ... so if you think that is weird you must be what, six or seven years old you little yankee frick?

Here's what this is all about - tell the truth.

This is all about a few Gator fans hoping and praying that mUSChamp fails. It's driving a few of y'all nuts obsessing over the possibility that all of this comes back to bite y'all in the arse eventually.

I love it though. Getting to see a full blown karma kickback happen in real time ... this is entertaining.
