Defense is too good and our receivers are too fast to throw the ball to.

I'm sorry Arkansas but in this day and age I don't see a game manager winning to many games, when you meet teams like Auburn, A&M, Tennessee you know those teams that score fast, your'e gonna have to have a qb that can make plays.

hmmm do you know if that was against first string D or second?

If first, maybe the D is just that good?

it was 1s vs 1s

nonetheless, he wasnt good today

the D line dominated the scrimmage

as far as the picks, i havent read anything that said he turned the ball over, but who knows

at this point in the year, the defense should be dominating scrimmages, see Auburns zero TD scrimmage for reference

It was 1v1s; 2v2s etc. additionally it was windy. Not a great stat line but coaches say they moved different WRs in today before they start to settle on final 6 WRs. Play needs to be better but not worried. It's practice.

It was against the first string D. It was also the first time he was live all fall and our #1 WR was out. I wouldn't put too much stock in to the results at this point.

Yeah, it is only the first scrimmage right? I would expect the defense to have an edge.

How did the running game look (that will be the bread and butter anyway)?

Most of Petrino's cruits are finally gone, Bert can't maintain the pressure that comes with 2 SEC wins in 2 seasons

Sounds like par for the course for his career to be honest.

As much as Arkansas posters want to harp on how improved he is and that's he's a senior, I'm not buying that he'll be any good until I see it. Brandon Allen has been a bad QB to this point, and experience can only improve you so much. He can start for the next 20 years, but he's not going to be Peyton Manning at the end of it just because of all that experience, ya know?

Wasn't the ball actually wrestled away from a receiver?
