It literally covers everything included in all of those horror stories about how bad athletes have it because they are not paid.
There have been universities even buy cars for athletes with the cooperation of the NCAA, because they were able to prove that the kid did not own a car and the family did not have the money to provide a car for the kid.
There is literally no reason for a student athlete to go hungry, go without clothes, etc. All of this can be solved through the Student Opportunity Fund, which is a pretty big pool of money.

It's an Ole Miss goody-bag filled with money and marijuana.

It's suppose to be there for emergency costs that aren't covered by scholarship money. Our RT used it over the summer for transportation to a funeral. It would be extremely easy to trace. I have a hard time believing that a water bill fits into this because scholarship money covers cost of living. Maybe it would work if it were a family members cost of living but either way, if it was used, the paper trail is there.

There's a lot of opportunities if you know when to take them.
There's a lot of opportunities
If there aren't you can make them.

Sounds like its $305 for anything or anyone that is remotely connected to a player

The part people are forgetting is Bill Martin says that he thought all this was included with rent that was paid.

Means momma can keep her A/C on about 55 degrees and the school pays for it.

Lots of goodies out there for players, even a clothing allowence fund provided by the NCAA but the narrative has ALWAYS been about how poor and "exploited" college athetes are,so no reason to actually inform people of the benefits available to these athletes.
If you factor in ALL the direct funds and benefits available (Pell Grants,COA allowence, room and board stipends, clothing allowence and opputurnity funds)
Some guys are coming out with 20+K a year tax free not including tuition and books.

Bjork, nor Freeze, no Tunsil's lawyer have mentioned the opportunity fund. I've said this before and I'll say it again: just because it exists doesn't mean it was used for Tunsil. It involves an application, receipts, and approval. It isn't a "here's 500 bucks, we'll do the ppw later system." Additionally, it is need based and emergency based, not want based and continually paying regular expenses based. Why Ole Miss fans keep bringing this up, I do not understand.
