Clemson

Is it fair to say if the committee has it any other way that they are trying to manipulate the playoff?

This is an easy answer. Iowa lost, they can't stay the same.

Now, where did you buy your tin foil hat? Or was it homemade?

I agree.

Clemson 1 for sure.
Bama/OU at 2 and 3. Doesn't matter either way.
MSU at 4.

Who knows what they do this year, but last year they liked conf. champ game winners and they might put Mich. State above Oklahoma if they still do that.

They punished the B12 for the lack of a championship game last season by dropping them form 3 to completely out. I suspect they will do the same thing this season and drop OU to 4.

At least that is the reason they will give. You already know that the real reason is the REC controls the committee so they will get OU out of Bama's bracket.

I could argue that MSU has the best resume in the country and belongs at #1 if you really look at it. Won't be surprised at all when they are ahead of Oklahoma. Might even be ahead of Bama.

I could see Oklahoma at 4 to avoid a home field advantage for them in Dallas. Alabama and Michigan State would be a slobber knocker.

I think it's very possible. Oklahoma was at home this weekend while MSU beat the #4 team.

I think I'd prefer to play OU for the title anyway. I'd like to smack Connor Cook around first.

MSU beat the 4th ranked team in the country, Oklahoma sat at home without a conference championship game. I will be shocked if Oklahoma does not move back to 4th.

I would not, but I think they will. Not only does Oklahoma have the worst loss, they sat home yesterday while Michigan State was beating a top 5 team in a last second thriller.

Again, look a what happened last year. This committee seems to put great value in the conference title games.

Not only does OU have the worst loss compared to Stanford

But their biggest win (Baylor) just lost to a team that would have only 3 wins all year if not for them

Probably, maybe not. I will know in a few hours. Happy selection Sunday!

I'd be more nervous of this Michigan state team than I am an overrated Oklahoma.

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. MSU
4. OU

MSU won a conference championship; committee seems to play that card a lot.

Well, unlike auburn, teams played this week.
If some teams played, and beat a great team, that should obviously bear weight.

It's Sunday, time to go put on your #1 Panthers jersey.

Oklahoma was sedentary and Michigan State beat the #4 team. That would be the justification.
