So why is a one loss Bama such a shoe in for the playoffs and no one else is?

Lost on their home field to Ole Miss. Barely beat Tennessee on their home field. I just don't get it.

Next Question.

Once they beat LSU again and Ole Miss loses a couple more which is par for the course then they are basically just there by default

Because they are really good. Here's my question for Bama fans, why did people treat Bama like they were booty when people thought Ole Miss was good, but now act like Bama is a juggernaut now that popular opinion is Ole Miss is above average, but not elite? College football is weird as shite.

Because a 1 loss bama team at the end of the year is probably the SEC champion

I never thought Ole Miss was good, and it's yet to be determined if we are - but it's sure as hell fun finding out.

May have something to do with being basically a permanent fixture in the top 10 for 8 straight seasons now.

I think a one loss sec west team would get in. If Bama beat LSU, then lost to miss st, kai would still get in the playoffs. If miss st ran the table, they'd get in. But I think that's it for the SEC barring side crazy scenario that allows a two loss ole miss in.

because media bias. You can say Saban, but the media bias exists because they fear Saban going off on their arses.

That doesn't answer my question at all. College football prognosticators thought the Ole Miss loss was a death knell to Alabama when Ole Miss was thought to be a top five team, now, they are in the teens and Bama is thought to be a juggernaut. It is weird. It should be the other way around in my opinion. Bama should have gotten the benefit of the doubt much more when people thought Ole Miss was good enough to beat Memphis.
