So why did LSU hire Ed Orgeron again?

Let's look at what he did at LSU this season.
Beat 4-8 Missouri
Beat 7-6 Conference USA team (Southern Miss)
Beat 5-7 Ole Miss
Lost to Alabama
Beat a 7-6 Arkansas team that just blew a 24 point lead in their bowl game
Lost to Florida
Beat a Texas A&M team who lost five consecutive games against Power 5 competition to finish the season
LSU fired Les Miles midway through the season because they were worried he might temporarily save his job for another year by winning a bunch of games down the stretch against subpar competition. Ironically, they ended up hiring a coach who did just that.

If Les was still at LSU we lose to Ole Miss and Arkansas as well.

I'm still laughing at Mizzou because all week long before our game we heard how they had the best offense in the league because they beat Delaware State 80-0 then they got hit by a freight train in Death Valley 42-7

Bc Les was their ceiling and they know it. They will become the new Tennessee and most of their fans realize that.

Sadly, because the administration has no desire to be elite. 8 wins a year is all they are looking for and a good majority of LSU are okay with this mentality.
It's the only reasonable explanation for their lack of aggressiveness when pursuing a quality HC.
They hired the guy down the hall because the AD is lazy and a joke.

Instead of concern for who LSU does/does not hire as coach, you should just run your mouth about the current Bammer run & be happy.
