I asked this a couple of months ago and the sentiment at the time was leaning to Nick Chubb (GA). However, Leonard Fournette (LSU) has been the talk of the town lately with all the Heisman chatter. I still think Chubb will bring home the bacon, since Fournette with half to raise his production from last year by 150% to pull even with Chubb (presuming Chubb equals last year), and Les Miles rotates running backs like there's no tomorrow.

Who else could be a surprise spoiler this year and swipe the title??

Auburn's RB (assuming they don't go RB by committee) or Chubb are pretty safe bets.

I saw 19 reasons to believe this hype last season.

Considering its been an Auburn RB for what seems like forever now I'd say the safe bet is Jovon Robinson or Roc Thomas

Richt rotates as well. When he has healthy enough backs anyway.

All pro-style offenses in the SEC does this.

Which is why the backs have actual pro careers.

If GUS picks a hit hand at RB and sticks with him like the last two years then either Jovon Robinson or Roc Thomas.

If GUS splits carries then I think it'll be Nick Chubb.

Arkansas will win the team rushing title, because Auburn will pass more this year.

UGA rbs tend to get injured mid season. My money's on whoever gets the lion's share at Auburn.

Teams trailing in games do tend to pass more.

Unless you have Brandon Allen for a QB and your best WR is a TE and you know that passing won't do any good anyways.

Auburn hasn't had a QB win them a bowl game since Kiehl Frazier came in for an injured Clint Mosely in the peach bowl.

Brandon Allen not only wins bowl games, he's the game's MVP.

You gotta go with Chubb especially considering he'll be starting more games and whoever UGA picks at QB will be a step back, or at least will be treated as such the first few games of the season.
