so Tunsil's mom had the means to move her family from Georgia to Oxford but couldn't afford to pay her light bill? I would imagine this assistance plan is need based.

Have you ever seen something like what happened last night happen before? Fans of every school always say "nothing will happen" until they do. I just don't see how any Ole Miss fan who saw what happened last night can say they're not worried with a straight face. What happened last night is about as bad as it gets.

you started this thread by referring to the ncaa assistance plan, acting like him receiving payments was permissible. Wouldn't that also be you accepting those payments were been made and accepted? Otherwise, why wouldn't you just start a thread saying the texts were fake?

This. Those messages can't be proven. And the NCAA gave almost 200 million dollars to conferences for assisting student athletes in emergency situations back in August of 2013.
Hell...even if we did cheat and pay him....we have a backup plan in place to cover our asses.

The NCAA will, but he will give them the bird because he's in the NFL now. They can't make him answer anything.
