So, what was wrong with Jacoby Brissett at Florida?

Muschamp could never develop the QB position. Brissett went somewhere else and actually got some coaching. Amazing how that will help a player improve.

He has developed...but while at UF he was beat out by Driskel who added the threat of a run game to the passing. Driskel has never regained his wheels after the broken leg early in 2013 and it is mostly mental which is part of the passing problem. Dude had three OCs and a serious injury....and this by his r/s jr year.

Grier is our hope for the future as Harris is capable filling in but his stats have to improve a lot...he barely completed 50% of his passes. But Harris is also a true frosh and maybe he will develop? Jury is out.

Brissett still has a brain cramp every now and then at NCS...but he has always had strong arm. He should excel by next year if the OL can freaking protect him. The best plays he has made so far have been the throwaways to avoid sacks and picks....the last sack wasn't his fault...LT freaking waved at the pass rusher.

Jacoby is also coached up by Matt Canada as the Wolfpack OC...he was OC at Northern Illinois in 2011 and was my personal choice as a replacement OC at UF after Hamburger Charlie was exit stage right.

Canada ended up as OC at Wisconsin under Bert and now is the Wolfpack OC and his teams have always been diverse and equally split run/pass to almost 50/50%.

What I like is seeing NCS at end of the first half stop UCF tonight with just a minute left and a 1 TD lead deep in their own end of the field...instead of playing it safe they get aggressive throw downfield...didn't score but the team knows the coaches are serious about winning.

Jacoby has average overall talent around him and he hopefully will get better help next year.
