Since when has Marquette or Seton Hall especially ever been considered elite?

No doubt. It was pretty much a replica of when we played Clemson in Greenville.

South Carolina would've beaten Marquette in Milwaukee. They were just a better team.

no way to know. i believe Marquette has better shooters.

i can't recall a seed as low a no. 7 playing so close to home in the tournament.

a pretty nice reward for a team that went 2-5 down the stretch in the regular season.

i was at that Clemson-SC game, don't remember Gamecock fans dominating the arena. there were def. more gamecocks there than would be if the Clemson was in Clemson

The Big East can say what they want, but they haven't been elite since the '80s.

So does Arkansas. Do you consider them elite. Marquette is a good program but they aren't elite.
