Last year USC agreed to move a home game to Baton Rouge on the same day as scheduled because of the strain placed on emergency services due to extreme local and state wide flooding.

LSU fans saw this as the only remedy.

This year UF agreed to move a home game scheduled during a hurricane to 6 weeks later in Baton Rouge.....

LSU fans somehow feel justified in this move.

PSA to the rest of the SEC: don't play LSU during a natural disaster involving a hurricane. You will lose

Every SEC game? I believe the SC/UGA game was effected by the hurricane.

By the way, the lesson to all SEC members is to have contingency plans.

We played SC in BR because there wasn't a neutral site approved and y'all agreed. The flooding y'all had sprung out of nowhere, much like ours did this summer. There really wasn't a viable option to play the game that weekend with that sudden of an event with notice besides Tiger Stadium. We also gave y'all all the gate money and raised plenty of extra funds for relief efforts. Fournette got special permission from the NCAA to auction his game jersey and donate the money to SC flood relief on top of that.

We're playing UF in BR because even though everyone know on Sunday that it was unlikely a game would be played the next weekend they pulled some bullshite and intentionally postponed the game and this is how the two schools and the SEC negotiated the situation.

LSU refuses to play in any sort of less than perfect weather.

A strong breeze. Nah, move the game to Baton Rouge.

A light drizzle. Move the game to Baton Rouge.

Any chance of precipitation with accumulating rainfall they want FEMA checks.

You missed the part about LSU offering to fly to Gainesville on Sunday morning, play the game, then fly home immediately after.

Florida declined to play.

The highest revenue conference in college football should have stepped in and said: "frick both of you, this is what we are doing" whether that meant moving the game to a neutral site or a later date. Instead, they left it up to LSU and Florida to have their own dick measuring contest for 2 weeks.

Why would the Big 10 step in, It isn't any of their business? It might have changed over the last couple of years, but I thought the Big 10 is the highest revenue conference. More populated states would get better tv contracts, right?

Yeah....I guess LSU benefitted greatly from hosting USC last year considering all proceeds were donated to USC to help flood victims.

Seriously? GTFO with this stupidity!
