P.S. Thanks for nothing Arky, Kentucky, Aggie, and SC. (I'd secretly love to see Auburn here too so I can hear more about their messiah QB all off-season)

Why did that start in the first place? Because UW beat LSU and Michigan beat Colorado?

I don't think anyone can argue it's the ACC for now.

It was never the best conference. The two powerhouses at top plus PSU in third? Never once evoked memories of Bama/LSU with Arkansas in third in 2011. No sensible person would have placed either OSU or Michigan in a BCS title game over Bama and Clemson.

I'd say we got fricked the most in our bowl matchup.

But we were never even supposed to make a bowl, so you're welcome I guess.

Uhhhhh the BCS is over with bud. You must not recall the bias given to the B1G by the BCS either. Those computers LOVED having Ohio State in those BCS championships.... even when they didn't deserve it, much like this year. Big10 was talked about being the best conference all season long because of the amount of teams that were ranked and because of their strong OOC schedule. ALL to be ripped apart by the ACC and SEC. Is the BIG even a power 5 conference anymore? I mean they've been HANDLED in just about every bowl game.

Yeeeeesss? Read my post again, please. I'll quote it at the bottom here. I brought up 2011 and the Bama/LSU position at the top and pointed out that no sensible person would have place OSU/UM in a BCS title game (as they did with Bama/LSU.) That's my argument -- the B10 was never the best conference, and I used 2011 SEC, which clearly was, to reinforce the contrast between a good conference and the best conference.

Honestly, this year you can make arguments for both conferences. It depends on how you want to interpret the data. In the end, I suspect whoever wins the title game will get the edge in the popular consciousness.
