He'll be back next season. We don't give a shite about basketball so we're damn sure not gonna spend any extra money to buy out one coach and hire another one. We're especially not gonna buy out a coach who only got the job because he played here and was beholden to another former player who runs AAU in this area and the 25-year head coach who hasn't been relevant in almsot 25 years.
If our Barney Fife/Gomer Pyle president/AD combo couldn't fire Miles, they're not gonna fire Jones. Both coaches should be handed a check and a one-way ticket out of Louisiana, but they'll be coaching their teams in the fall.
