And two couples overhear my father in law and I discussing the upcoming season. One of the ladies comes over and says, are you Alabama fans?
My FiL is, and I say LSU, and we have an impromptu talk about SEC football. One couple are UGA fans, the Tide fans. It was pleasant and whetted all our appetites for CFB!
No matter where you go, you can find SEC fans!!

I shot terrible golf and drank copious Scotland ale. My FiL discovered a new single malt.
We visited a pub, The Key which has 300 single malts. He was in heaven.

Neat, I went to the Great Wall of China last year and saw a dude sporting a Razorback baseball hat.

before moving back I lived in Austin and followed the Longhorns. In Australia I saw a guy with a Texas sweatshirt in the hotel and said "hookem" and he looked at me like I was from Mars. Guessing he bought he sweatshirt and had no idea what it meant

Back in late June ran into some fellow LSU folks on the street in Paris. It was a cool evening, and I had on an LSU hoodie. They stopped and asked me if I had gone to LSU. It was a family from Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

Ha. I had plenty of locals in Australia tell me how they were the ones playing real football etc.

Are you at the Dunvegan? Pub there was owned by an Ag for a number of years. Apparently the place to go. They sold it very recently. They built quite an atmosphere there. Hopefully the new owners can maintain it.

Did you "tiger bait" them?

J/K, that's pretty cool. I'm jealous.

Only after they roll tided me.
Did not make it to the Dunvegan, but it is still alive and hopping. Many caddies and pros frequent it.
Great trip.
