... (the league being defined as The SEC for the anarchists) other than Saban, who would it be?

Choose any other Head Football Coach currently serving in the SEC other than your own and other than Saban, who would it be?

I'll go first as per tradition. This should be interesting.

I'm happy with mUSChamp so far and believe he will do well here, but if I had to choose another it would be Kirby for obvious reasons.

Mullen maybe? The coaching in this league is really poor when you think about it.

I dunno, I'd probably take 4-5 B1G coaches before I'd take anyone else in the SEC.

Kirby has the most potential, so I'd take him. I don't think he's even close to being the second best coach in the conference at the moment though. He looked overwhelmed several times last year.

Butch Jones. He did a great job in Orange is the New Black.

I like where Hugh Freeze has Ole Miss heading but I'm gonna have to say Orgeron.

Thanks to the turnover in the last few years, too many coaches are either unproven, or have been proven to be less than stellar. I still honestly believe some of the latter have potential -- I still have some faith in Bielema, for example -- but none of the choices make me nod and go, 'Yeah, I'll take that." Five years ago, sure. Now? I suspect it'll be another 5 years before we can really feel confident about our choice outside of Saban.

Edit: 5 years ago, I would have taken Spurrier. He hates recruiting. We can't recruit anyway. A match made in heaven.

I would keep Mac over any of them but if I had to choose I would take Mason from Vandy. I think he is improving and would be interesting to see at a bigger school .

That was the joke. I like where he has Ole Miss headed but I wouldn't want him at Arkansas

Muschamp then Mason. Would revolt if we hired Bert or Butch.

I would take Les Miles since he was fired.

If I had to pick a current coach it would be Gus since he is the only available coach to win an SEC title.
