So, I think the end of SEC credibility is here

The benefit of the doubt is gone, and the SEC will have to fight for playoff spots just as hard as anyone else.

The SEC champ will still be respected and if they have one or less losses will be in the playoff. Blame the big 12's stupidity as a organization for the slight.

That's probably a good thing.

I think the league has become a little too internally focused. Teams are building themselves to beat other SEC teams and it becomes a bit of a closed feedback loop.
