I mean I can't imagine a more perfect time to finally invest in a new stadium for a national champion. Been to that stadium and wow it's like the red headed step child facility of Florida.

Why Gator venues PsOS? UF poor?

Because they don't have real fans.
Most of the state is Yankee transplants that dgaf about college athletics.
The rest are either:
A) fairweather fans who don't even pay attention any more now that they don't have a Spurrier or Meyer putting them in contention for championships
Or B) bandwagon fans who hop back and forth between UF, FSU, and Miami depending on who is the best at the moment. So right now all their "fans" are wearing Seminoles gear and getting ready to break the Hurricane gear out based on how Richt is recruiting at the moment.

10 year renovation freeze
Which didn't slow down their athletic program at all, somehow

Renovations were already announced, but there has been some rumors of simply starting fresh and building a new stadium. We should know within a month what direction they take.

GTFOH with that shite. Florida as a state has one of the best college sports followings in the country. Go to anywhere in Florida outside Miami, and you'll see a shite ton of gator fans and a shite ton of FSU fans. Miami fans are mostly band wagoners. But please.. growing up in Florida going to an out of state SEC school, and living across the country now, I can tell you Florida is probabaly the best state to live in when it comes to college sports.

I'd just start anew. May have some interest in suites etc now

I'd prefer new as well. That said, the initial concepts for renovation were pretty nice and added a number of suites. The project architect is supposed to be chosen in the next couple of months.

Very nice. And that 2017 National Champions banner will be the icing on the cake!

The Panhandle and Central Fla to O, is just a southern extension of redneck Alabama and Georgia. (Gainesville is included in this)

It didn't seem to have any effect on Aaron Hernandez and his thug teammates and cheerleaders.
Enough UF fans of some source show up on game day that it is not really safe for the other team's fans to walk down the street.
