There has got to be a player to be named later in the trade.

First time Petrino has traded something that didn't require penicillin to fix.

This is baffling. Why would Louisville do this? This is a horrible move for them on paper.

Grantham sucks too, so it's not like they're going to do much worse. Louisville's defense wasn't good against anyone decent. That's exactly the resume Grantham had at UGA. Pad stats against the lesser teams and give up 30+ to the better teams. We affectionately called him 3rd and Grantham. Okay, perhaps it wasn't that affectionate.

Grantham switches schools more than Orgeron, and that's saying something.

State standards are too damn low.

That said, Louisville just went full retard mode like Joe Alleva

Anyone turning this into a negative for MSU is a troll. This was a very, very nice hire. Grantham is highly respected in defensive circles. fielded the 3rd best Run Defense in the NFL with the Cowboys. 2nd best run defense in CFB last year. The guy knows how to stop the run. That's how you stay competitive in the SEC. Stop the run. MSU has the guys on defense to be a very good unit.

He did an ok job stopping Guice. Guice had 131 yds but most came on his huge TD run.

His defense however allowed Etling to pick him apart downfield. Especially on 3rd down. The same shite that plagued him at UGA plagues him now
