Since we're talking about stats and Etling

Here is a stat:
1st quarter (when Harris played) = 0 points
2nd-4th quarters (when Etling played) = 34 points
The team played better when Etling was in the game.
Now, Etling is probably a serviceable QB at best...but after what LSU fans have put up with at the position lately, we'll take it.

That Jacksonville State defense was a test for sure

I remember reading this exact same phrase about Brandon Harris after he shredded New Mexico State a couple years ago

Miles will be fired mid season.

Etling has me believing LSU can win 7 games this year. That 2nd quarter against JSU was magical

I honestly think the team quit on Harris and you could see the renewed sense of hope when Etling came in. And when you add hope to the talent on this team it's a deadly combination

That seems like the only possible outcome at this point.

The team quit on Harris in the 1st game of the season at Lambeau field? Do you dumbasses even think about what you say?
And your "talent" is soft as frick. Night and day watching Bama's talent laying the lumber compared to LSU's "talent

What are you talking about? I said serviceable at best. You think that's going too far?

That Appalachian state defense that held you to 13 in regulation was a juggernaut too.
2015 against:
Clemson- 41
Troy- 41 pts
Ark st- 40 pts
Ohio- 29
S Alabama- 27 pts
Idaho- 20 pts
Wyoming, ULM, and Georgia Southern put up Tennessee like numbers (13-14 pts) though so you are in good company
Etling looked "serviceable" not great. Harris had us on pace to hoping for a 14-13 nail biter.
I'd say Dobbs looked a little better game 2. Let's see how Etling looks game 2

Did he say in the first game?
Do you dumbasses even think about what you are responding to?
The team was down after Harris went 3 and out against jax state, and even more so after he did it again.
They were re-energized when Etling throws a long TD pass to a TE on his first ever series. It carried over to the running game, the defense, and the special teams

So they quit in the 1st quarter of the 1st home game? If that's even remotely true, LSU is a team full of losers and quitters.

Maybe, or a bunch of 18-21 year old kids down on themselves needed a spark of confidence.
Either way I'm not proud of how our season is going at this point obviously. But I'll root for our guys every time they step on the field and hope the win and enjoy themselves in doing so

That is great. Just take it to the LSU board. Because we don't care about your shitty quarterbacks over here.

I'm not the one who claimed the team quit on Harris in the 1st home game of the season.
I think that's fricking stupid

No, I think they have seen that Harris couldn't get it done all last year, all spring. The players knew Etling was better but Miles refused to pull the trigger. They looked defeated when Harris threw that awful pass into triple coverage on his 2nd 3 and out.
When Etling was brought in it showed that maybe Miles wasn't as stubborn as everyone said. You could see the entire team re-energized
