It's only in "premium sections", not the entire stadiums. It's a loophole for the bullshite sec no booze rule.

no such thing

When will the other schools in the SEC allow it?
Arkansas started doing it 2 years ago. That is in the club areas like Florida is just now doing. A few other SEC schools do it as well.

Slightly misleading title. All schools can provide alcohol in premium areas, just most choose not to. At Auburn any premium seat holder can bring in alcohol to any event.

The article says 5 already do for football.

I've never been to a football game in my entire life that I didn't have a flask hidden on my person.

I still remember the bullshite of getting beer at the Deontay Wilder fight at Bartow Arena this summer.
You had to show that you were "of age", then get in line to buy beer tickets then get in line to give your ticket to get the beer.
I just see it happening at Coleman or the Joe

LSU would make a killing if it went stadium wide. They just don't want to be the first to go to it in the SEC

So nothing changed? Our suite already had alcohol for the past 3 years at least.

LSU does it for football and baseball suites only and in basketball restricted access areas since there is no suite seating at basketball games.
I think if the SEC did a trial basis for baseball throughout stadium it might work. You could even sell wristbands that limit the # you could purchase.

Alabama sells it in the club level now at the new Joe

Good to see they're finding a way to help fans cope with having to watch their offense when it's on the field.

Mizzou does it in the suites/"club level" seats for both football and basketball. If anyone were the first to do it throughout the entire stadiums, it'd probably be Mizzou; we've got about the most lenient liquor laws in the entire country (thanks A-B).
On the other hand, I like the idea that, at least at basketball games, I don't have to worry about a bunch of drunk people teaching my kiddos new words. At football half the stadium is drunk from tailgating anyway, but it's too damn cold to do that here during basketball season.

Vanderbilt, Missouri, UK, and USC will be next. The schools are going in order of how much alcohol will be necessary to deaden our senses when watching our offenses take the field.

We only allow people to stock their "lockers" in our club levels and suites, which works out better for me . No selling of alcohol here yet

You can definitely buy alcohol at club level in Alex Box. I've done it before.
