Good news. Nothing catastrophic.

AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn receiver D'haquille Williams suffered a sprained ligament in right knee against Texas A&M and will miss the Georgia game, according to a source close to the situation.
Williams sprained the medial collateral ligament and suffered a bruised right knee when he was hit low by Texas A&M defensive back De'Vante Harris early in the second quarter of the Tigers' 41-38 loss to the Aggies, the source told AL.com.
A return could come as soon as the Tigers' non-conference game against Samford on Nov. 22, according to the source, but he will likely remain questionable following the Georgia game. An MRI scan revealed Sunday morning that Williams did not tear the ligament, according to the source.

So glad to hear that. It looked REALLY bad when it happened.

Awesome news for him. Looked nasty.

Well that's about as good as you can hope for. Would be surprised if he is back that soon though.

There are conflicting reports about his availability for the rest of the season...
I think it is a wait and see approach at this point.

I really wish the same could be said for Laquon Treadwell. Great kid. reminds a lot of people of Williams. Hope both are back in the spring at least.

I think it depends on the player. Denzel Devall sprained ligaments and missed 3-4 weeks. Ameer Abdullah missed 1 week

Glad he didn't tear anything, looked rough.
That return is very optimistic though...

I really wouldn't trust any injury report out of Auburn. They won't tell the truth.

Great news. He should be playing in the NFL right now, can't wait to see him get drafted.

You guys never even know how long someone is out or what the actual injury is. Your DE was coming back at the beginning of the season or out for the season. Nobody knows.

Sort of like on Oct. 28th it was announced that Cam Robinson would be out for 2 weeks.....

Wow that looked so much worse to me. Good news and thank you for sharing.

Came back in 2 weeks.
Devall was announced at 4 weeks, Kelly for a couple. Tell me what your players have been announced.

So glad to hear it wasn't a tear. Duke Williams is one hell of a receiver.
Do you Auburn fans think he will go pro this year or return for another season?

I don't think he returns myself.

It might depend on the injury. ACL might bring him back.
