There are 6 spots for QBs at the senior bowl.

Currently Accepted Invites:

Shane Carden - ECU
Garrett Grayson- Colorado St
Bryce Petty - Baylor
Blake Sims - Alabama

Discuss.

Isn't the purpose of that for scouts to evaluate talent?

Would he play cornerback in the senior bowl?

Possibly, but probably not. He's a pretty bad QB when it comes to the conventional hike, read, throw.

I wish there was a spot in all-star games like the Senior Bowl for athletes to try out new positions for the NFL.

Could Marshall be a great slot receiver? Punt returner? Corner? Free safety?

I think so. But it's going to take a huge leap of faith for any team to draft him for that role.

No because he'd probably smoke it.

Honestly, I just can't think of 2 Senior QBs that would be rated higher by scouts. Blake Sims being picked shows Phil Savage's bias. Guy is a joke. Almost didn't invite Jay Prosch last year as a FB despite being #1 FB prospect

Mel Kiper has said he believes some team will draft Marshall around the 4th round as a defensive back.

The guy is very respected by most people except Auburn fans. He is far from a joke.

I think he should. Matt Jones got an invite and played receiver in the game. Looks like a similar situation.

I hope so. I'm interested to see him work in a different system/setting.

Yeah, give him a shot at DB. Won't be a QB in the league.

I never believe in conspiracies about Alabama v Auburn or any of that stuff. That stuff is crazy and idiotic Aubies at work

To think Phil Savage though doesn't have a bias against Auburn players absurd. His inability to be objective is a joke.
