Should Mizzou claim the 1960 NC?

Mizzou finished the year 11-0, Big 8 champs and beat Navy in the Orange Bowl. They actually lost to kansas the last game of the year, but that win was forfeited due to use of an ineligible player.
The 1960 title is claimed by Minnesota who was 8-2, Big 10 co champs and lost in the Rose Bowl.
I'm claiming it from now on.

Wrong year. Ole Miss was 2 behind Minny. We finished behind Navy, who we beat in the bowl game. WTF?

No. I know a guy from that team and he says they had their shot when they played Kansas, and didn't get it done. They don't need a title to justify that great season, so why should any other Mizzou fan?

For a few reasons. Minnesota was named the champion after losing two games. Why does one loss, which was not actually loss due to kU cheating, disqualify Mizzou from finishing ahead of a two loss team?
Also, it doesn't matter that we lost to kU. They cheated and were caught doing it. If kU would have played with 16 guys on offense instead of 11, and Mizzou subsequently lost, should we still have said we had a shot but missed it?

Arkansas, Florida and Georgia all picked up retroactive championships in a thread yesterday so I think you guys should take this one if you want.
