Should LSU & Ole Miss bring back the playing on Halloween tradition?

I am too young to remember these. I assume the costumes would be out of control and the drunkenness would be amplified.

next year halloween falls square on a saturday too. and lsu is.........on a bye.

That's not a tradition. Halloween on Saturday only occurs every so often.

Since we have two bye weeks now we could use it the week before if the game was to fall on a day that wasn't friday or saturday.

next year i think everyone is back to 1 bye. not sure about years after that.

I just assumed that we were back to always having two bye weeks. I wouldn't mind if we stuck with the two bye weeks

if it has its only been in the last decade. lsu/ole miss played on the saturday closest to halloween every year from the 50s until 2001 with like 4 exceptions.
