it should rotate. Hoover, NOLA, Memphis would be pretty attractive.

Keep it at Hoover. It's best located and they really do a great job there. No reason to move it.

I go every year and live in Bham. All the people we sat next to this weekend all said the same thing: We hope they don't move it.

Hoover is centrally located. It has RV parking. It accommodates tailgates. It is kid friendly.

If we are hell bent on rotating this event, then we should rotate every event: basketball tourney, football title game, baseball tourney, etc, etc.

Hoover is basically Birmingham. Sorry you're not smart enough to think to drive 10 minutes down the interstate if you get bored at night after the games.

What's the problem?

1. People who don't live in Alabama or Mississippi would like to see it in their neck of the woods as well.
2. Other cities offer more options for fans (when they're not at the ballpark, and/or their team has been eliminated).

Went on Saturday. It was my first time there, and it was pleasant. That said, I still like to see it rotate locations.

Frick Houston. There are already enough swamps in the SEC. Frisco or Arlington is where it's at.

Because Hoover has tradition and much more fan friendly. Not to mention RV parking which they are adding on to.

That may be the case (though choosing a venue for the small percentage of ppl who choose to use the event as their weekend RV getaway seems odd???).

The OP asked what the problem is; I answered.
