What say you other schools? If in the same position, fire or retain?

Too late now.

They had a chance at Tom Herman and Bobby Petrino last year and didn't pull the trigger.

He isn't going to win the way you want him to and the powers that be at your school already know it.

Art Briles will be brought in soon, it is what it is.

I would want him gone if I were an Auburn fan. But who are you getting at this point? Maybe if you could get PJ Fleck.

Definitely retain. NCAA CFB is a hard sport and a lot of fans give up to early on coaches, can't take a few bad seasons. For 90% of teams there will be sizeable fluctuation in W-L records due to the nature of the sport with roster attrition, recruiting and etc.

There are not many truly PROVEN Elite coaches out there that can make a program like Au a consistent top 5 team year I year out, and that is not a slam on Au. And those coaches are already at schools that they aren't leaving. Hard to find anyone who could consistently do better. I think Gustav is a pretty good Coach.

Fire Gus and make Rhett Lashlee head coach, he can rehire Gus as OC.

Gus has shown what he can do with a suitable QB. I realize not having a QB is his fault, but this year hasn't been a total disaster. If y'all hadn't of shite the bed against The dawgs it would have been a great season. At least in terms of expectations. I honestly wasn't sure y'all would become bowl eligible earlier in the season.
