Shea Patterson changes the dynamic of the SEC West starting next season.

This kid is ready-made for Hugh Freeze's offense and will be the best QB the conference has seen in a long time. 2 year starter and first selection in 2019 NFL draft. Book it.

Unless ole miss finds a OL and running game, it'll be more of the same... explosive but wildly inconsistent.

Lots of them will transfer when the NCAA drops the hammer on them. They'll give the upperclassmen waivers so they don't have to sit out.

OM will never be able to recruit enough talented depth to compete year in and out in the SEC. They may challenge every few years or so if they catch some breaks. However, not worried about one player dominating the SEC.

Whole lotta rumors going around he may be transferring. He did not travel with the team to Baton Rouge.
Shea is really really good but I would hardly call him made for Freeze's offense. Freeze wants the QB to be the running game for his offense and Shea is a pure pocket passer. In fact maybe that's why Shea is considering transferring, he's seeing all the hits Kelly has to endure and doesn't particularly like that. But really he might transfer because his brother is getting a job somewhere else, he follows him everywhere.

Doesn't mean jack shite if they don't find a running game...and I find it hard to believe Shea will produce much more than Kelly, he is a fn baller. Just not vs LSU

He's redshirting so he doesn't travel to every road game. There is a limit on traveling players so every slot is valuable.

Freeze hasn't run his QBs very much in the last 3 seasons, despite below-average RB play.
