No coaching players, and no onfield participation during practice or game days as far as pertinent decision making goes.

So we are going to act like Saban just promoted a coach to be OC for the championship game that didn't have contact with players and wasn't on field for practice all season?

We all fricking cheat, but does anyone just swing their dick at the NCAA like Saban?

Props to you Nick

I mean is it really tin foil hat level?

Do you think Sark is being promoted without player interaction or being hands on during practices all season? I don't give a shite. We cheat our asses off too. I am just pointing out how the NCAA is useless

Some might consider me telling you that "you've had a rough couple of days on the Rant so take a break" coaching. Some might consider it just advice. That's the gray area where Championships are won.

Hope bama fans find self worth outside of rooting for the accomplishments of their favorite team.

It's likely Sark provides weekly updates on the players that he can see and breaks down every single game that is being called by Kiffin. It's also possible Sark gave a rundown of what went wrong while Kiffin probably asked for a few days off to go to Boca and recruit. The resulting combination led to the situation you're seeing now.

Saban likely trusts his own playcalling and Sark's analysis more at this moment.

Where in that rule does it say he can't have input with the coaches and be present at practice?

The shadow staff rules are fairly vague. What does the NCAA consider "coaching" players?

He was on the field for practice. Just couldn't help the players.

If you hadn't been so busy fapping to Sark's booger eating, you'd have noticed that his headset had no mouthpiece...he could only listen to in-game staff communication and not contribute.
