How did you guys lose to freaking bush league Kingsbury and Texas Tech? I know it was early in the year, but that game tonight looked like two Texas high schools. I know that had to burn Bert up inside. I wish y'all would get to play them in a bowl game and beat the dogshite out of them. Kingsbury and his douche self looked like an 8th grade girl at a dance after that bush league trick play they scored on.

I agree but the same thing could be said about State losing to LSU.

Robb Smith. He single handily lost that game for us by having our corners play 8 yards off their man as tech ran the same damn bubble screens and outside sweeps all day. He still does it too. He doesn't trust our secondary to play man coverage even now. It's why we lost to State too. A complete refusal to make any adjustments. It's really pitiful. We also lost 2 of our 3 starting recievers the game before and lost our third later that game. Texas Tech's offense is nice on the real. Big 12 schools can score with anyone.

We had issues early, penalties for example that gave the games to Aggie and Toledo, and a new offensive system.
But tech and Bama just beat us.
We were circled on tech's calendar...Bama is just better than us...

Arkansas defense shockingly slow... teams that play In space have killed them all year... MSU, ole miss, TT, Aggies, even our shitty offense moved the ball on them.

The DBs played 8 yards off the line because your defense is slow and you can't cover anybody.

No it isn't, how can you say "shockingly", not shocking at all.

Yeah no shite Sherlock but at times that doesn't matter there are certain situations where you have to play man to man and trust your db's ability to deceptively hold their man and make a decent play.

Yep. Precisely why I'm nervous about our game against Mizzou tomorrow. In theory we should smoke them but our defense will probably make Lock look like an All-SEC candidate.

We suck at tackling. It's not like our players aren't there to make the plays. I've only seen our guys get blown away on a few occasions. The rest they just take terrible angles and can't wrap up. I feel pretty confident tat Mizzou wouldn't move the ball against even the worst of defenses. I think they'll be more fired up than us tomorrow, however. That does worry me. If we have a ton of turnovers then it could be a long day. Other than that I just don't see how us scoring 24 or more doesn't get the job done against them.

As others have mentioned, they weren't a good match-up for us. In addition to our problems defensively, we were also still learning Enos' offense. We only scored 24 points on TT, but would probably put 60+ on them today. Some Arkansas fans still don't think we'd beat them today, but I don't think it would be close.
I also think they really wanted revenge for last year and Kingsbury had probably worked too many hours on his post-game speech to accept a loss. I still found the loss unacceptable, but we probably struggled more with TT then anyone other then Bama. They were really fired up to play us and we probably didn't take them seriously enough.

They were 27 out of 31 passing for 315 yards. They ran a hurry up offense and we consistently got burned with the pass. When we played MSU I thought the early part of that game and the TT game were eerily similar. Bottom line is we don't defend well against accurate passing QBs. We're ranked 123rd in pass defense and that was one of those games in which it showed.

Robb Smith is a Tampa 2 zone coach. he always has been a Tampa 2 zone coach. we beath the dog shite out of tech last year running the same tampa 2 zone
i think we're too bulked up a slower than we were last year. That and our safeties are not very good
plus their QB would be at the very least, the third best QB in the SEC this year dude can sling it.

Don't blame Tech. Texas ought to have been literally laughed out of the stadium of for falling for that trick play.
