move the ball and score on the Alabama defense? I would say the defense wins that contest most of the time.

Alabama's offense has elite playmakers, but this particular Alabama team has not truly developed a go to identity.

Strangely, I think Saban just let's OC call whatever in the first half and then just tells Kiffin to run it mostly in the second half.

Had Bama run the ball more in the first half, Scarborough may have gotten the MVP with a 150+ yard performance. At halftime, BS had 3 carries for 30 yards. Meanwhile, Bama foozled multiple possessions in the first half.

Damien Harris, "glad we don't have to play them"

Blake Barnett with this group of WR/TE would give us fits but D would win out.

Normally happens after the first 2 drives in the second half. That's when Bo comes from the bullpen to close things out.

I don't think they score.

I don't think anyone can now score many points against this D.

I doubt it, and I agree the defense would win most of the time. Bama's offense has given me fits this year. Bama's defense could and would stop Bama's offense on a daily basis, Imho.

slightly different perspective - practicing against the Bama D has probably helped the O develop more than they would have otherwise - but this D is elite and IMHO would beat the O 75%+ of the time. And I completely agree that the O would be much more formidable w/Barnett at QB - Bama wasted the WR/TE talent this year.

I remember watching the spring game, and Herbstreit was like 8 yds behind the linebackers and said, "we're a little close, but I guarantee they're not gonna get that many yards on one play."

And he was seriously like 12 yds beyond the LOS.

I agree. They're suffocating.

As a fan of elite defense, it's a joy to watch 'em play that side of the ball
