Serious question for Arkansas fans ...

Do y'all have championship aspirations with Bert? Honestly, you seem beyond thrilled with 0 - 8 and 2 - 6 his first two years in conference. Is shutting out LSU and beating Texas that big of a deal, or do you need more going forward? What are your expectations, say, 3 - 5 years from now?

I'd be shocked if Arkansas ever won another SEC game. He's only won 2 SEC games in 2 years and that was with the benefit of inheriting the stacked team Petrino and John L left. He was an unproven gamble when he was hired and his brand of football won't be successful.

We have improving year over year on our mind. We've endured Nutt, Petrino and Smith and remain passionate no matter the records. If Bret continues an upward trend we will remain very optimistic which shouldn't be shocking to anyone here. Bret is easy fodder for jokes but he's proving to be very capable and we are proud to have him.

Arkansas should be very happy if they can get Houston Nutt level performances out of BB. Which for a program of Arkansas' caliber is not that bad. Especially with how stacked the West is now. I still can't understand why Arkansas fans hated Nutt so much. The guy was a consistent winner at the 4th or 5th best program in his division.

BB is executing on a formula that has proven very successful in the SEC. It has worked at LSU with our last two coaches and showed scary promise for the Hogs last year. Y'all were a couple bad breaks away from 9 wins.
