Final BCS Standings from 2008:
1. Oklahoma
2. Florida
3. Texas
4. Alabama
5. USC
6. Utah

That would have been one if the absolute best years for a playoff. OU got in over Texas on some retarded tie breaker in conference and Florida USC would have been a great game.

I would've had it #1 Oklahoma, #2 Florida, #3 USC, and #4 Texas (I think they had the best sos).

Hope they mock 2011 next.

I would assume they are trying to avoid the OU/Texas rematch which is why they put them at 3

I just saw it on Twitter, but doing some digging it seems like this is actually a media mock and not the actual selection committee doing the mock.

This committee thing is going to end up being a terrible idea. We need the BCS computers back.

Thanks man, yeah if this is just a media mock up with no input from the actual 13 it is pointless except to get the media to act as if it was the 13 and write stories to that effect.

Mountain West: TCU 12-0
WAC: Boise State 12-0

Big Ten: Ohio State 10-2
ACC: Georgia Tech 11-2

#1 Alabama
#2 Texas
#3 Boise State (beat Pac 10 champ Oregon)
#4 Cincinnati or TCU
Can't put us because of the Alabama beatdown and the SEC kinda sucking that year.
Edit: Oregon was 10-2 (also lost to 7-5 Stanford).

Florida-USC would have made for an epic game.
1. Alabama (13-0)
2. Texas (13-0)
3. Florida (12-1)
4. TCU (12-0)
The MWC had some quality depth in 2008 and 2009 with Utah, TCU, and BYU finishing ranked each year. And their teams usually backed it up in the bowls. I'm looking a little in hindsight, though, with how poorly Cincinnati did against Florida.

You figure that Cincinnati would've played better if their coach hadn't abandoned them.
