On the road to hotlanta right now to watch Florida dominate Alabama tomorrow.
Joking aside, where are some good bars to go to that I won't get shot or robbed at?

You should go to Bulldog's Bar by the Vortex Burger in Midtown.

Anywhere near Turner Field is a great, safe location for you and your family

Buckhead is Gator friendly

Being robbed will feel better than what you will be feeling tomorrow, lizard.

Centrally located, good spot. And don't be fooled, it's not limited to UGA folks.

That trophy is almost within reach...

Blakes is better.

Go to Smith's Olde Bar. It will feel just like you're in Gainesville.

Um Blakes is a gay bar
Don't listen to him OP. Bulldogs is a good option unless Blakes is your style

Should've saved that one for the Bama fans that come in out of the sticks.

This. Or just go to Vortex. Great beer selection and some of the best damn burgers I've ever had. Little Five Points location is a bit better in my opinion, but the Midtown location is still phenomenal.

There is no part of town that is unfriendly to any fan base. Just stay away from any bama party places and you are fine. I know in the past there have been block parties in buckhead for the SEC championship. No clue if they are good or not. .

Stats right near the dome. Buckhead for afterward

OP if you really want some bars you probably otherwise wouldn't get to for the game (which aren't all the way to Buckhead or Inman Park, etc.) and you promise not to wear your fricking hair gel to them, try Ormbys or Cypress Street

I'm more talking for tonight and not tomorrow. Not sure of the plan tomorrow yet since tailgating there blows... But I imagine that'll be easier.

Lot of Alabama fans and even media that think Bama can just show up and it's over.
I've seen teams take other team lightly only to be embarrassed. I'd like to see both teams play at or above their best game.
Florida hasn't been to the SEC Championship game more than any other team due to luck.
As a Bama fan I hope we win out and make the 2nd half of every game boring for the fans of the opposing teams.
with that said good luck and no injuries to each team.

Virginia Highlands was a cool spot 20 years ago. They had game projected on the brick walls along the street. You could stop and watch the Braves game as you went from club to club. That's about how long it's been since I partied in Atlanta. Buckhead was OK too.

If you're a retired old man in the basement, can still remember your LSD days, you could tell us what the Underground was like in the late 60's, early 70's. That was somewhat close to where Turner Field is isn't it? Or wasn't it?
Damn time flies.
and no I wasn't around for the underground but heard many tales.
