Just was reading on the SEC blog on ESPN how LSU has only lost to two teams (3 games total) at home since 2010 (last 5 seasons). Got me curious as to best home field advantage recently/best records and saw some interesting things.

Before anyone says tldr, its long lol...

LSU = Bama twice, State = 3 games total

Bama = LSU, A&M, Auburn = 3 games total

Auburn = A&M twice, LSU, Ark, UGA, Bama = 6 games total

State = LSU (2), Bama (2), A&M, USCe, Auburn, Ark = 8 games total

A&M = LSU (2), Mizzou (3), Ole Miss, Bama, UF, OK St, Texas = 10 games total

Ark = UGA, Bama (3), A&M, USCe, Auburn, State, ULM, Rutgers, Ole Miss, LSU = 12 games total

Ole Miss = Auburn (2), A&M (2), Mizzou, Texas, Vandy (2), BYU, UGA, Bama, Ark, LA Tech, LSU, Jacksonville St, State = 16 games total

Interesting facts...
Bama and LSU are the only two teams to win at every SECw stadium in the last 5 years

Ole Miss lost the most games and is the only team to lose to every SECw at home over the last five years...to be fair, most of that was in two dreadful seasons

State is a lot higher than I expected.

Well, LSU lost a lot of their home field advantage. I'll take it, but I do enjoy a night game in Death Valley. You can't beat that atmosphere for a big game.

Just saw this...thought you might find this interesting...

GDIAF, GTFO, IDK whatever, just thought it was worth posting.

Honestly no...I can delete that last part if that's what y'all think...I just saw that while I was compiling the data and thought it was an interesting addition to the end.

I explained what made me think to research it in the intro...

associate/compile data and see what the list says...i'm not trying to toot LSU's horn, we all know our home record for the last 15 years, or even for the history of the program speaks for itself. I just saw a stat, put together some data, and pulled some things I saw interesting. I didn't rag on any team, I just pulled some stuff IMO was interesting.

I'll be glad when we finally don't have to count the WMS games at Little Rock as home games.

Auburn = A&M twice

This stings a little. A&M is the only team to beat Gus at home so far.

Uh, nooooo. YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU are trying to associate LSU with Bama's company.
How is ONE poster posting factual information equate to "LSU" trying to associate itself....."

I didn't realize one post on one random message board somehow represents an entire university and fan base...
Oh, and BTW, SEVEN OF THE NINE games between Miles and Saban have come down to the final seconds.
No other program has challenged the mighty Saban more in the last decade. Miles could very easily be 5-4 or even 6-3 vs Saban.

If LSU had not given away the '12 and '14 games, it would have been totally different.
Name ONE other program/coach that has played Bama and Saban better in the last decade........

And I mean absolutely no disrespect to Coach Saban and Alabama. More power to them....
