I think Mal Moore did a great job at Alabama for a long time, he will be missed.

All of Long's hires have been money.

Bama fans were calling for Moore's head for years until he got lucky and hit the lottery with Saban. Moore was a terrible AD if you ask bama fans this question 7 years ago.

Barnhart rebounded after his Joker debacle and the Gillispie hire. Still has a long way to go IMO.

Mal hit a homerun when he hired Saban. Great legacy for him. RIP

I would say Florida, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, A&M and Arkansas have top AD's right now. Ole Miss seems to have made a solid hire as well.

Although I think Long is #2 in the SEC, you are forgetting one football hire recently...

Yea, yea who else could he have gotten given the timeframe but still.

Tell me what Alleva has done so terribly wrong. I don't get all the hate for him.

I will add the Vandy AD should be high on the list. Wish we could have at AU.

Joe Dean hired Saban, but Dean sucked too. Even a broke clock is right twice a day.

Mark Emmert hired Saban. Dean was horrible, worst ever for LSU

Nope, one of the last things Dean did was hire Saban. I wanna say he also brought Bertman in.

I'm pretty sure Mark Emmert hired Saban and Bob Broadhead hired Skip Bertman. Dean sucked arse...
