SEC will be vendicated this Bowl Season

7-4 maybe 8-3. I think the SEC was a little over rated last year and the players believed their press clippings. This year, they are being disrespected by the national media and the attitude in preparation will be different. LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, UGA, UT, UF, and Miss State are all quality teams, and will show up and play to their potential. With 11 teams bowling, 7-4 would be considered dominate. Then Bama crushes Oklahoma or Clemson on Jan 11 to leave no doubt that the SEC is still the best. Bookmark it!

I think the term is right. The media says the SEC is overrated and in shambles. We say we are not, that the SEC is still the best. If the SEC wins 66% of its match ups, isn't that vendication?

That's not possible. The SEC only has 10 teams that are bowl eligible.
Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina are all waiting till next season.

Are you guys English teachers or football fans? BTW, I do pretty well running a supply boat. What do you do Hawg? Someone who is not a nerd please discuss how the SEC will do in the bowls. I say 7-4. Tell me if I'm wrong.

Bowl games are silly arse exhibitions put on a month after the season.
They dont mean anything about the relative value of conferences. That was true when the SEC stunk last year, and it will be if they go undefeated this year.

Oil field guys have always had a bad name. That's why I love it out here. I haven't had to write a paper in 35 years so I am a little rusty. Anyone care make an argument for or against 7-4?

Didn't graduate from UA. Grew up in Tuscaloosa. Joined the USCG after HS. Had a calling for the sea. Are graduates the only ones allowed to post? Sorry.
