Is there a chance in hell anyone can challenge Alabama now?

LSU was the only hope the last decade.

Division fell off hard. Took a big reputation hit tonight.

Why would Herman come coach at a place where he can be fired for not winning 9+ games every year?

Because he knows he'd win 9+ games every year?

TAMU says hi. We have stability at OC, DC, and have outstanding line coaches and strength and conditioning coach. We have great facilities and are the only SEC program in the state of Texas. With LSU firing Miles, we are looking very good.

LSU fans don't seem to understand that. Good luck with Presbyterian OC Claude Bumblefrucker

Saban didn't win 9+ every year. Hell the year after he won a national title he won 8. Herman ain't winning 9+ every year.

The only benefit of this is the search can take its time. Bad thing is firing mid season will chase off several good prospects

It was just a joke.

Fact is, no one here has any idea whether Herman would take the LSU job.

Very true. The only big name I think LSU can rule out is Jimbo.

Im still in on Jimbo, although if any of the stuff from last year is true, that ship has likely sailed.

Wishful thinking. He doesn't want to live in Louisiana.

Chavis on D + Turner building the trenches is a great foundation, but Saban is the best coach in the NCAA right now, and he might be the best in CFB history.

As long as that a-hole's pacing the sidelines, it's Alabama and then everyone else
