1.) Nick Saban 39-10 (79.59%)
2.) Les Miles 42-18 (70.00%)
3.) Gus Malzahn 9-8 (52.94%)
4.) Kevin Sumlin 12-11 (52.17%)
5.) Hugh Freeze 11-11 (50.00%)
6.) Dan Mullen 12-25 (32.43%)
7.) Brett Bielama 5-13 (27.77%)

I didn't realize first, that Les had been so dominant in his tenure. Second, that it was such a log-jam between Gus, Sumlin, and Freeze. And third, that Mullen was so horrid against the west (0-7 vs Bama, 1-6 vs LSU, 1-3 against A&M)

Did you decide to ignore Saban's tenure at LSU?

That's an additional 25 games to consider.

He'll still be #1 though. Easily.

ETA:
Saban's record against the West while at LSU was:
18-7 (.720)

So still better than everyone on that list.

16.67% of Bert's SEC West wins came against Arkansas.

You're welcome.

You mispelled - it's "Bert."

Also, he has 5 SEC West wins: LSU x 2, Ole Miss x 2, AU.

This isn't their records against each other though. How many coaches have come and gone through the SEC west through the years of these records? They're are still 1 & 2, but the west was shite when Saban and Miles were early in their SEC tenure.
